Next, you need to know the equipment that you need. Tropical fish tanks need special devices to ensure that tropical fish would survive in your aquarium. Aside from the basic setup, such as an aerator, filter, and lighting, you would also need a heater and a thermometer.
Remember that tropical fish came from a warm climate, thats why you need to simulate their original habitat conditions in the aquarium. To do that, youd need a heater to warm the water, and a thermometer to keep watch of the water temperature. Tropical fish are sensitive to subtle temperature changes, so having a heater and thermometer will protect the well-being and health of the fish.

Though there are lots of fish tanks to choose from, knowing the size, type, and equipment that youll need would narrow down your choices.
