Liposuction is the removal of additional body fat that is sucked out with specialized surgical equipment. This is ordinarily accomplished by a cosmetic surgeon. It can be better depicted as a way of taking out fat from certain areas of the body.
This can be accomplished on the abdomen, thighs, chin, flanks, the upper area of the knees, the neck, and the underarms. Just about any area that has fat beneath the skin can be treated with liposuction.

It can be used by almost anyone who has problems with hypodermic fat. The main reason why people resort to liposuction is for aesthetics. They like to eradicate “love handles”, ugly fat bulges or an abnormal chin line.
Liposuction surgery can be done on patients of any age. But dramatic results can be seen in persons with elastic skin. The younger the skin, the better the result.
A note of caution: liposuction won’t correct generalized obesity. People mistakenly think they get leaner after the operation. This isn’t the case though it assists people with certain obesity problems or people who have been living on calorie-restricted diets for ages. In most cases, liposuction just takes away unwanted fat from specific areas of the body. It will not make you thinner.
