These areas indicate an oncoming anxiety or panic attack. And if you notice these areas beginning to perspire then you can prepare properly.
Did you know that stress actually talks to the brain and causes it to send signals that increase sweat production? Pretty interesting right? This is where you need to learn how to control it.. yes breathing can help but it won’t every time.
2. Tremors and Body Shaking
When you feel areas on your body begin to shake, you’ve usually identified one of the most common physical signals of anxiety. Use the same process with sweating… if you can think back to areas that normally shake first then you have a step up.
With that picked up on early in the process you can begin to figure out ways to control it so it won’t get progressively worse. Once again breathing can really help or it can makes things worse.
3. Racing Heart
Your racing heart usually indicates the next step in the process of anxiety buildup, but it is a very clear sign that things are not going well.
I’m sure you are very familiar with that uncomfortable pounding of the heart. So hard at times that it actually feels like it’s hurting… or that it will just bust through your rib cage.
This is actually a pretty serious situation because feeling your heart can easily cause you to begin to spiral out of control. This is when you really need the help of a program so you can learn yourself how to take control.
These physical signs of stress, anxiety, and panic are serious. You want to learn how to control them at all costs because if you slip then you will easily find yourself in that circle of no return. Don’t worry there are solutions out there to help you.

Episodes of hypomania may warrant a diagnosis of bipolar II disorder if the person is also having episodes of depression. Hypomania causes symptoms of mania that are not severe enough to be considered a manic episode.
Hypomanic episodes are also part of a diagnosis of cyclothymic disorder. Cyclothymic disorder is characterized by the presence of numerous hypomanic episodes for at least two years.
The symptoms of hypomania include an abnormally irritable or elevated mood that lasts for at least four days. The mood disturbance and other symptoms of mania must last for at least a week or be severe enough to require hospitalization for the symptoms to be considered evidence of a manic episode.
The person must have at least three other symptoms of mania during the mood disturbance if the mood is elevated or four or more if the mood disturbance is irritable for it to be considered a hypomanic episode. Distractibility and inflated self-esteem or grandiosity are two symptoms of mania that can occur during a hypomanic episode.
Possible symptoms of mania include a decreased need for sleep, increased talkativeness, and racing thoughts. The decreased need for sleep can cause the person to sleep much less than usual, often as little as three hours a day, without a resulting fatigue or tiredness.
Another symptom of hypomania is a focus on goal-oriented behavior. The person may have a renewed and even obsessive pursuit of a goal. The goal may be related to work, personal achievement, social activities, or interpersonal relationships.
Hypomania can cause the person to engage in pleasurable activities without regards to the consequences of their behavior. These activities with which the person becomes excessively involved are often out of character for the person.
The symptoms of a hypomanic episode must be severe enough to cause a change in functioning that is observable. However, the change in functioning must not cause a significant impairment in social or occupational functioning.
If the symptoms persist for at least a week and become severe enough to cause an impairment in occupational or social functioning, the hypomanic episode may be considered a manic episode. In these cases, the person’s diagnosis may change from bipolar II disorder or cyclothymic disorder to bipolar I disorder since the presence of manic episodes is the defining trait of bipolar I disorder.

Being a teenager is probably the happiest phase in ones life but it is also the phase when a person goes through feelings of infatuation, confusion, pressure, and wrong decisions. A typical teenager would feel the pressures brought about by changes in his or her body during puberty, peer pressure, and questions about love, identity, and where they belong. Also, this is usually the time when children begin to develop conflicts with their parents as they begin to assert their independence. With all this drama, it becomes difficult to tell if a teenager is depressed or is just going through the normal teenage mood swings.
There are some signs that might be able to help you tell when a teenager requires help with depression. Some of these are regular crying, loneliness, isolation from other people, anger, feeling of guilt, lack of interest in activities and energy, struggle with concentration, skipping of meals and even thinking or actually attempting suicide. If you are confused if it is just a normal phase for a teenager or if he needs help with depression, you should consider how often the aforementioned signs happen, how extreme they are and just how different your teen acts compared to his or her previous normal behavior.
If you would not be able to provide them the help with depression they need, then it could go beyond just an air of sadness and hopelessness. One of the most common results of untreated depression is substance abuse. Many depressed teenagers, in their attempt to self-medicate, would resort to alcohol and drugs. Also, they begin to be delinquent in their studies or stop attending classes altogether. They become very sensitive to what other people have to say. When they get a criticism, they would feel very down. They would try to run away. They immerse themselves in the Internet thinking they could escape their problems if they do. They engage in reckless behavior such as unsafe sex, out-of-control drinking, and reckless driving. They begin to eat and sleep less. They might even entertain thoughts of suicide.
The possibility to commit suicide is very possible since a depressed teenager would usually no longer be thinking rationally. Thus, you must be very keen and be on the watch for any warning signs of suicide in your teenager. These warning signs include: giving away prized possessions, taking pills even if they do not have any medical condition, saying goodbye to friends or family members as if making their last farewell, joking about committing suicide, saying things like Maybe if I die, they will miss me, or At least I wont feel this pain if Im already dead, writing poetry about death or dying, and cutting themselves. If your teen is showing one or more of these signs, the likelihood that they need help with depression should not be dismissed. In fact, it is almost certain that this is the case.
The first thing to do is to converse with your teenager in a loving manner. Make him or her realize that you are there to show support. Make your teen open up to you about the phase he or she is going through and make him or her realize that you are always there when you are needed. If your teen does not budge, do not be tough. Instead, be gentle and caring. Once he or she starts to converse with you, just listen. Do not scold or reprimand him or her even if his or her source of depression is unreasonable. Acknowledge the pain your teen feels instead of forcing him to quit depression. Doing so will make him or her realize that you are serious about helping. You should always trust your instincts as well.
Once you have conversed, it would be wise to have your teenager go through some tests that may show if he or she is undergoing a serious medical condition. If the results show that your teen is not suffering from any medical condition, it is much better to ask for the services of a psychologist. The psychologist is the most credible person that may help you determine your teenagers source of depression.

Knowing the difference and knowing the different types of ADD symptoms can help ensure that you or your kid gets the right therapy.
Different Signs
ADHD symptoms include three different categories. These are:
* Lack of concentration
* Hyperactivity
* Reckless
On the other hand, ADD only causes the lack of concentration symptoms.
Handling a patient for ADHD when they have ADD and is overmedication could lead to further troubles. In most cases, the stories about Ritalin and other ADHD therapy medications that make a kid to be zombie-like are perhaps connected directly to medicating kids with only ADD with the incorrect medication or incorrect doses, assuming that the kids have ADHD.
Inattention Symptoms
With ADD the only type of symptoms that will be exhibited are inattention symptoms. These include:
* Can’t notice to details
* Offhand mistakes
* Easily unfocused
* Cannot take a note
* Trouble following instructions
* Leaving tasks unfinished
* Can’t put anything in order
* Neglectful
Diagnosing ADD can help a child get a grasp on things and start to be able to focus. A child that is treated for ADD will begin to do better in school and have better behavior overall.
In most situations, parents always believe that their children could not be ADD since they can sit for many hours doing something they like without being distracted.
In fact that a child with ADD can focus when they really enjoy what they are doing since it does not require them to put any effort into paying attention as well as being focused like another activities they do not like to do.
ADD will get worse as the child gets older, or at least continue to cause troubles with school as well as other activities. By the time, it has progressed into another thing that is perhaps causing all around troubles in the kid’s life.
It is much better to catch ADD in younger children so they can get used to taking medication and learn how to overcome ADD symptoms.

If you’ve suffered from panic episodes, you know how absolutely debilitating they can be. They are physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually draining. They can have an effect on your work, relationship with your loved ones, friendships and your capability to fully enjoy your life. They have been described by some as waking nightmares . How can you cure panic attacks?
For those that are lucky enough not to suffer these episodes, panic episodes are the unexpected onset of irrational fear that begin with no reason. They can be short, infrequently only lasting minutes or they can persist for up to a 30 minutes. The physical effects can be quite varied : from stuff like a rapid heart beat, sweating, trembling, hot flashes to trouble swallowing frequently, the lasting effects can be quite acute.
Then there are the deeper and maybe more meaningful mental and emotional effects. These attacks can become so severe that one may be afraid to do the most simple of routines, like picking up the phone to return a call, or going out with pals or even shopping for groceries. It can become so bad that some will only do these things when accompanied by a friend or family member. It can become bad enough that suicide might be considered. How it’s possible to cure panic fits then must become a heavy focus in their lives.
It should go without saying that if you have repeated panic fits, a medical professional should be consulted as well as your non secular adviser. Often times, there may be a deeply rooted trigger that sets these attacks off. If you can find that trigger ( introspection is known as for here ), you may be able to stop these attacks yourself, though if they persist, medical help is strongly recommended before it is getting beyond control. In all cases, you must take action and see about how to cure panic episodes, rather than hoping they’ll’just go away,’ as over time they will affect the standard of your life.
So, how to deal with panic attacks? There are many strategies, but if you just commence with one and do it doggedly, this may help. First, realize that you are going to get thru this. Take a chair and sit in it, gently gripping the armrests. Next, concentrate on a spot at eye level. It doesn’t matter what you focus on, so long as you you keep looking at that spot and not anywhere else. Next, focus on taking slow deep breaths, pausing in between each breath, as this will calm your body but also help calm and center your mind.
If you can’t get too much oxygen, you can remain perturbed so don’t skip over this step. Once you have done that, start saying what you see. You may also repeat a private mantra. When I’m agitated and unfocused, I start running through everything that I’m thankful for, from my life to my relations, to my home and everything in between. This could help ground you. Do this until the panic episode subsides.
