Different Cases Of Nut Allergy Symptoms
I was surprised to find out that apparently, the causes of nut allergy may differ from person to person.
I also have discovered something that was very interesting which I never knew before: a person with a peanut allergy may not have an allergic reaction to tree nuts. The reason why this is the case, is because a peanut is not a nut at all. It is actually a legume and tree nuts are dried fruit. These caused reactions to different people because they were actually having a reaction to the protein that is in these nuts and that protein differed in each case.
I also learned that there is a difference between nut allergy symptoms and nut intolerance symptoms. The reaction which may occur is not the same.
- A person with a nut intolerance is going to have very mild symptoms that are associated with eating the nuts. For example, they might have diarrhea or perhaps heartburn but it is never going to be life-threatening.
- A person who has a nut allergy, on the other hand, can have a reaction that is known as anaphylaxis and it can kill them very quickly.
