Many American’s are eligible foe government funded health insurance and they do not even realize. Awareness could help the rise in uninsured I hope. In the least help many people. Many are surprised that they are eligible.

Medicare is the largest health insurance program in the US. Most everyone knows that it will cover anyone over 65. But did you know it will also cover some people under 65 with certain disabilities. And for those individuals that are batteling Renal Failure.
Medicare has 2 parts. Part A is free and is the Hospital Insurance part. Part B usually has a monthly fee and is the Medical Insurance, meant for office visits and checkups. you can find more on this at your local Social Security office.
Medicaid is a federally funded health insurance program for low income individuals and their families. It is State administered, so each State sets forth guidelines for eligibility. You can visit your local Dept, of Human Services to find out if you meet their guidelines.
Childrens Health Insurance Plans or CHIP is a child only option. This federally funded program is also State administered. The program offers medical and dental benefits to qualifying children under the age of 18. The income standard is a bit less restrictive then the Medicaid plan.
