Lupus Diet – Essential Lupus Diet Do’s and Don’ts

Since healing lupus, I decided that I would see if my case wasn’t the only ‘fluke’ and find others that have also healed. I wasn’t alone. What’s better is that I have found that each of our approaches to healing were different. So I took all of the healing modalities and encorporated the information into a book to promote the many natural solutions available.

The first most practical place to start your healing should include a healthy diet for lupus. Many alternative health specialists claim that at least 80 percent of your immune system is affected by your digestive tract. Therefore it is the first line of defense you should start to work with.

Many alternative health specialists claim that at least 80 percent of your immune system is affected by your digestive tract. Therefore it is the first line of defense you should start to work with. Studies have also shown that decreased enzyme levels are found in health issues such as lupus, diabetes, allergies, skin disease, cancer, and arthritis.

A powerful way to support your digestion is to ensure your body has the ability to absorb, therefore utilize the nutrients from your food. Two sources that support this are digestive enzymes, and probiotics. When food molecules arent digested properly the body may view them as a foreign invader and send a faulty attack message. This auto-immune reaction leads to inflammation and pain, including arthritis symptoms, muscle pain, digestive issues, fatigue, and migraines to name just a few.

Increase nutrient absorption — Support the natural healing process — Help eliminate toxins — Increase energy levels — Destroy parasites and viruses — Reduce gastrointestinal discomfort and bloating — Maintain proper body weight.

Lupus sufferers are told there is no cure for lupus. I beg to differ, since I completely healed lupus, as have others. Lupus patients are also often told diet doesnt matter. Again, I beg to differ. If diet matters when were healthy, it certainly matters a lot more when were suffering from disease. Any disease.

You must begin your defense against lupus with a common sense, healthy diet that includes natural whole foods, plenty of fruits and vegetables, nuts and plenty of water. Lupus diet donts include processed foods, fatty food, red meat, (some believe all meats should be avoided although many report no reaction to fish and chicken), alcohol, soda, sugar, salty foods and foods made from white flour.

There are many specific lupus diet dos that you can implement that will support your health by reducing your bodys inflammatory response that are discussed in detail in my Lupus Diet Do’s and Dont’s free Newsletter and Mini Course. The book goes further into discussing each of the modalities we used to heal. Feel free to contact me for a free consultation or if you would like more information at healinglupus@gmail.com
