Why should I be taking an Omega3 Daily supplement?

Rushing around at 90 miles per hour to maintain our lifestyle in these modern times, necessitates we take a daily nutritional supplement simply to exist

This busy lifestyle causes our diet to suffer the most with us developing nutritional deficiencies. Resorting to the fast food drive-thru or take out instead of preparing healthy fresh foods at home is convenient-sure, but the required nutrients, essential oils, vitamins, and minerals are just not there. When we do eat at home, often it’s “TV” dinners and various processed, precooked, frozen foods. We warm up in the Microwave Oven.

Taking Omega3 daily is a great way of adding the necessary nutrients proven to give you a great range of health benefits.

When a product becomes popular and is the clear leader in its field, imitators crawl out of the woodwork. There are many versions of Omega 3 supplements. The ones rich in DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are the ones you are looking for.

ALA (a-linolenic acid), EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), and DHA, (docosahexaenoic acid). Of these three fatty acids making up Omega 3. The most important for good health is DHA.

Increasing levels of DHA is accomplished by consuming it. This important chemical is not easily manufactured by our bodies.

For a long time researchers have understood the benefits of Omega 3 fatty acids. investigation into the diet of the Greenland Eskimo was conducted in the 1970s. Up until that time researchers were perplexed at how these people, living on a diet of seafood and fish eating mammals — with little or no vegetables, had so little coronary heart disease in their populations. The one constant continuously showing up was the very high levels of Omega 3 fatty acids in the Eskimo systems.

Omega3 supplements were soon being recommended in a healthy diet to prevent heart attack. These supplements were also approved by the Canadian government for Brain and vision health. Boosting the credibility of the supplement even more.

Other studies conducted on Eskimos shown positive medical evidence showing Omega 3 produces:

reduced triglyceride levels, lower blood pressure. Omega 3 is a natural blood thinner preventing clots which helps prevent heart attack.

Other Benefits of Omega 3:

improved mental function, improved eyesight, better immune system, better circulation, prevention of strokes and thrombosis, relief of rheumatoid arthritis, reduction of the symptoms of depression and anxiety, prevents and/or treats certain types of Cancer, including:

*breast cancer

*prostate cancer

*colon cancer

It is no wonder health and fitness gurus are extolling the virtues of taking Omega3 daily, with such diverse benefits as these. It’s easy to see why its popularity is spreading.

Where can you get Omega 3?

Omega 3 fatty acids can be found in some plants, grains and nuts, but without the rich concentrations of DHA, which comes from fish oil. They are not as effective.

Omega 3 fish oil is the richest source of DHA. You must be careful when deciding on which Omega 3 supplement you are going to take. Because the best oil does come from fish it must be complete (100%) purified of all harmful toxins normally associated with fish, like PCBs (Polychlorinated biphenyls) and Mercury.

The highest concentrations of DHA content is found in Hake. A fish native to the waters surrounding Australia and New Zealand. Other oily fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel contain good levels of omega 3 oils, but Hake shows the best concentration of DHA.

When choosing an omega 3 supplement to take; one containing Hake fish oil is an excellent choice.

Probably the most important supplement you will ever choose will be an Omega3 daily supplement.

With research showing more and more benefits, taking Omega 3 fish oil may well prove to be the only supplement you ever need to take.
